Ella offers personalised one-to-one oil painting tuition from her studio at The Hotwalls in Old Portsmouth — a unique and historic location by the sea. Each three-hour session is tailored to the individual’s interests, experience, and goals, whether you’re just starting out or looking to develop your skills further.

Ella also offers a three-part Introduction to Alla Prima Portrait Painting, designed to guide students through the process of completing a portrait from life in three sessions. This course covers key aspects of observation, structure, colour, and expressive brushwork.

In addition to one-to-one sessions, Ella runs regular painting and drawing workshops and courses with artist Katie Munro under the name Paint and Draw Atelier. These take place in the historic Round Tower, just a short walk from The Hotwalls. The Atelier also hosts monthly Life Drawing sessions open to all levels.
